PF & QF’s Youth Learn to Hunt events are all about getting kids outside, learning new skills, and having fun in the field. With hands-on activities, safe instruction, and exciting first hunts, young participants gain confidence, connect with nature, and create memories that last a lifetime. This event is open to youth 11-18 who have completed their MN DNR Firearms Safety course. Each youth will be given the opportunity to shoot a round of trap, hunt for upland birds, and have lunch afterwards. Please wear sturdy footwear, blaze orange or pink hat and/or vest, safety glasses, and bring a youth-appropriate shotgun (if you have one).
