Join Thumbs Up at Grand Blanc Huntsman's Club as we host a day of Clay shooting to support the uplands and education.
This event is open to women, men and youth (with shooting experience) over the age of 14. We are even willing to make you a deal if you buy a membership.
Start your day by checking in with the Thumbs Up crew in the clubhouse starting at noon. You will be assigned your group number and told which station you will start on. We will hold a shooters meeting at 12:50 pm. At 1 pm everyone will begin shooting and will shoot 50 rounds of sporting clays.
This event is open to everyone! Funds raised will be used to support women and youth Learn to Shoot and Learn to Hunt events as well as future habitat projects.
After you finish shooting, hang out with us to enjoy dinner and a cold beverage. There will be inside and outside seating available, but bring a lawn chair if you wish to relax and swap stories with friends.
If you are not a shooter or just can't shoot that day but would like to come and support this event, we are offering a meal only ticket.
We will also have some side games for chances to win prizes, so bring some extra shells, extra cash, and don't be in a big rush. We will kick off the side games at noon, so once you check in, you can kill a little time ahead of shooting.
You will need to provide your own ammo, eye and hearing protection. GBHC does sell boxes of shells if needed. $10 per box for 12 and 20 gauge and $18 per box for .410, 28 and 16 gauge.
Golf Carts are available to rent on a first come first served basis the day of the event. $15 for a 4-seater or $25 for a 6-seater. We cannot guarantee availability.
