Join us to improve YOUR Public Lands!
Sheyenne National Grasslands is a special place in North Dakota. It provides an incredible place to recreate, and provides vital grassland habitats for imperiled and threatened species like Greater Prairie Chicken.
We aim to improve these habitats by removing woody encroachment and collecting local plant seeds for restoration efforts!
All ages are welcome! There's work and learning to be done no matter what your skill level is! We appreciate all the help we can get!
Lunch is provided on site.
Please dress appropriately for conditions and work. Please bring work gloves and some sort of eye protection.
If you have tools for removing invasive cedar (axes, saws, loppers, etc.) and are willing to bring them, that is very appreciated.
Restoration will take place on SNG lands. Final meeting location will be announced on the week of the event.
For any questions or concerns, please contact Seth Owens.
