Join us for a hands-on Mentor Hunt event hosted by Quail Forever, designed for new and aspiring upland bird hunters of all ages. This introductory program will cover the different perspectives of upland hunting, including firearm safety, dog handling, habitat, gear selection, and ethical hunting practices.
Participants will have the opportunity to work with experienced mentors and trained pointing dogs in the field, gaining practical skills and confidence in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
Whether you’re brand new to hunting or looking to sharpen your skills, this event is a great way to connect with the upland hunting community and learn what it takes to chase wild birds with purpose and respect.
All experience levels welcome - need to have some shotgunning experience. Also required is an age-appropriate Oklahoma hunting license and completed hunter's education, transportation, blaze orange vest or hat, shotgun, and shells.
