Family Sporting Clays

Sunday, June 21^st, we invite you to a SPORTING CLAYS EVENT for youth and their families.  This is a good time for the whole family to spend outdoors together.  Check-in begins at 8:30 AM at the Downers Grove Sportsmen’s Club located at 4700 West Old Stage Rd in Morris, IL.  After checking in, breakfast is available for everyone present, and the event will start immediately after. This event is open to all family members.  Each youth aged 18 and under and women will be shooting for free, and we will provide shotgun shells either (20 or 12 gauge) for youth and women.  Also, each youth participating will receive a Pheasants Forever Ringneck Membership for one year.  All participants need to provide their own shotgun.   If you don’t own a shotgun, we have six youth guns that can be borrowed, but you need to let us know ahead of time.  Each participant must have the ability to handle a shotgun in a safe manner. All youth under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or a legal authorized guardian. This will be a 50-round course.  Each adult 19 years of age and older must provide their own shells (50 total) and a $25 fee when checking in on the day of the event.   The registration deadline is Sunday, June 14^th.
