Details:
First 10 Female Participants to sign up, aged 17 and up, who have acquired a Base Hunting License ($11 from Walmart or any sporting good store), will go out in the field in groups of 2, with a trainer and dog to hunt chukar, and learn how to hunt birds. Bag limit of 2 birds per participant. Hunting groups will go in 30-minute intervals. Lessons on cleaning the birds after each hunt will be provided. Bring: 20- or 12-gauge shotgun, with a box of 6 shot ammo. Guns can be available if you do not own one or have one to use. Please contact Taelor Robinette at 517-667-0966 for help or questions. Lunch will be provided following the hunt. Come to learn, have fun, and meet some other female hunters. We can also tell you about what Eaton County Pheasants Forever is doing for the community, and for the hunting heritage with Women on the Wing.
